Grapplers Quest, March 7th 2009

PowerStaff Sponsored Athlete John Beneduce stepped up and competed in the stacked absolute division at the Grapplers Quest. The Division was loaded with BJJ Black Belt world champions, MMA fighters and D1 wrestlers. Competing at 158, John Beneduce was one of the lightest competitors in the Absolute Division which doesn't have any weight classes. John beat a tough opponent in his first bout, even though he gave up over 20 pounds. The PowerStaff Workout helped give him the conditioning and intensity to pull out the win. John lost his second bout to the eventual division winner, putting up a tough fight while giving up almost 40 pounds. John's conditioning was top notch in his matches and he was constantly working, making his opponents tired throughout the competition.
